My So-Called Bollywood Life

I read this for the #RomanceSparksJoy book discussion for May. Such a gorgeous cover!

I liked Winnie and her story a lot, and her love interests were well-developed, though this is a YA romance, so it's not too sexy. There's a lot of astrology (and that plays heavily into the romance), and I imagine that for someone who believes in astrology, or has a deeper understanding of Bollywood than I do, this would resonate a lot more deeply. This book wasn't meant for me, but this is 100% for somebody else, and that person deserves to see themselves in a romance and I love that it's available for that person.

As it is, I thought it was cute and fun, and I'm glad the author included a list of suggested Bollywood movies at the end, because I've never seen any and want to check out her recommendations!
