First of all, I love Evangelene's books. ‘The Devil Behind Me' series is one of my favourites.
But this one needs a new editing work.
Nice characters, beautiful love story, interesting relationship between a woman and a younger man, but ... You can tell the same in 150 pages, you don't need the rest. The last part, the hero pov, is completely needless, and the same goes for a few scenes after the final reunion.
