Monday's Not Coming

More like 4 and a half stars. I could not put this down. Started it last night, and finished it this morning. Wow. This is the second book I have read by Tiffany D. Jackson that has just been compulsively readable. But, just like [b:Allegedly 30037870 Allegedly Tiffany D. Jackson https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1476974718s/30037870.jpg 50000013], I felt the “twist” to be unnecessary and that it detracted from the story as a whole. This story still would have been amazing without it. Now, at the risk of dancing near spoilers (but trying to keep my toes out of spoiler pond) I have to remark on the mentions of Flowers In the Attic in the novel and let me just say that I was CONVINCED this whole thing was going to pull a My Sweet Audrina at the end. V.C. Andrews fans....back me up!Also, I had never heard of go-go music and now I have a playlist going on Youtube that is pretty damned awesome. Thank you for the education!
