Moby Dick

I need to update this with an actual review. With 6 months of distance, I'm surprised and delighted how much this book has lodged itself in my head. It didn't feel like it was particularly transformative while reading it, but that makes the effect all the more fascinating.

It really is worth it - not for the payoff at the end, really, but for the payoffs that keep resonating long afterwards.
