J'étais intrigué par cette collection et j'ai pu avoir ce tome à prêter par un ami. Première surprise, découvrir qu'il s'agissait en fait du quatrième tome d'une série et non d'histoires séparées. Qu'importe j'ai pu quand même découvrir l'univers et ses personnages. Beaucoup ne font pas partie de l'univers Disney classique et en l'absence des premiers tomes j'ai du trouver des marques. L'histoire de Maléfice reste globalement intéressante mais j'attendais plus de profondeur et d'attachement au personnage. Au final ce tome se préoccupe plus d'approfondir la “lore” du récit global que de vraiment s'intéresser à Maléfice, dont la profondeur du personnage et motivations ne sont abordés que sur les derniers chapitres. Je suis donc resté un peu sur ma faim, hésitant à découvrir le reste de la série mais refroidit par le fait que la promesse de raconter l'histoire de Maléfice et ses motivations aient si peu été creusés.

It's just no book for me. For some reason it just felt so generic, without any soul or creativity. It felt deprived and I was fed up with reading Maleficent's story put into this..

I don't know. It rarely happens that I cannot finish a book, but this was.. Not for me!
