Mister Monday

Blah. I thought the prologue was fascinating and then blah. The main character was so flat and cliché (wimpy kid gets a magical object and turns into a hero). Plus I could not make a connection with him. I wanted to feel sorry or sad or afraid for him and I just didn't. I thought there were a few interesting side characters but they would show up, be interesting and then disappear: example Leaf and Ed. Where did they go? Suzy was interesting and then gone as well. I thought the concept of the Will was interesting but yet again fell flat. I am not sure I will take the time to read the rest of the series. The concept was very interesting but the execution did not work for me. I also did not like the not-so-subtle references to Christianity in the negative. To each his own I guess.
