Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

I wanted to like this book so much. I read it when I was still in high school and I'm pretty sure it's been like 5 years. And I wanted to like it so much that I tried to force myself to like it. But I have come to terms with the fact that I didn't. I didn't like this book at all. I thought it was boring. As the more experienced reader I am now I would have DNFed it now honestly. I just couldn't get into it. I wasn't excited to read the next one. It didn't impact me I forced myself to finish it and this one just wasn't for me. The idea was there I just didn't like any of the characters really and the love story made me feel weird and awkward.
