Mastiff

I have finally finished this series! I think I've now read all the Tortall books (except the one coming out in October) and I am super happy about that.

Unfortunately, I had a few problems with this book– mostly things that occurred, but had no meaning to... or changing a person's character for the story to continue. I really disliked that. I really did. As much as I enjoyed the hunt and some of the characters there are black clouds hanging over this book.... I may never read it again :/

Again, there is a lack of the friends and people from the first book since they are out in the kingdom... I shouldn't have given Rosto, Kora, and Aniki my heart hahaha.

It was a great book, I'm so happy I read it, I'm mostly happy with the ending, at least Beka's ending, and I'm glad it wrapped up with an epilogue from George ^_^ Started with him, ended with him LOVE IT.
Feelings melancholy now, nostalgic even so I think it is time to end this review and take another long break from the world of Tortall.
