Managed

I read this book as part of the Swoon Sisters Book Club. This is the first book I have read by this author and it happens to be the second book in the VIP series. The hosts said this could be read as a standalone which is why I went ahead and read it despite not reading book one. I absolutely loved this book. I loved the banter between Gabriel and Sophie. I started listening to the audiobook one night when everyone was in bed and I had a hard time being quiet because it was so freaking funny from the very first chapter. I managed to listen to over half of it that night and I would have finished it had I not had to wake up early the next day. I did manage to finish the last half the next night where I had the same problem with keeping quiet as the night before. This is a slow burn, angsty grumpy sunshine book that is hilarious and steamy and I loved every bit of it.
