Love Remains

A hard book to read, though not as hard as the one before it in the series. Sarah Eden doesn't hesitate to throw the worst thing possible directly into the path of all her characters. They arrive on the scene of this story scarred, wounded, lost. The majority of the book is a story of slow healing, complicated by stubbornness, prejudice, and more loss.

I love how deep the books in this series are and how richly the historic setting is described. I hope there will be plenty more to come.
