Love on the Brain

Ali's books read like fanfic, which isn't a bad thing! I spent WAYYYY too long on AO3 and so the fanfiction style writing is nothing off-putting to me. Hell, I even have a novel idea based off what was originally a fanfic idea. It's useful! But I'm going into this under the assumption it's thinly veiled Reylo fanfic (this was never actually posted as fanfic but inspiration dies hard) and maybe that's why I enjoy it much more than a lot of the other reviews? The general consensus is that it's too much like TLH, but when you read fanfic that's kinda the whole schtick. I thought the characters were fun and I love tropes and cliches. Don't go into this expecting a piece of literary genius and you'll probably enjoy this. I will say the whole large p*nis thing was a bit much as a lot of people know bigger isn't better, but beyond that the sex scenes were good!
