Lost River

I enjoyed “Lost River”. There are two stories running parallel; Ben Cooper's failure to save a young girl found in a river and his suspicions that all is not as it seems within her family, and Diane Fry's return to Liverpool where her past finally catches up with her. Having once disliked Diane Fry, I now feel sympathy for her and have a better understanding of her. It is a sad tale, but it will be interesting to see how the relationship between Cooper and Fry progresses both in and out of the workplace.
