So I said I would try this author again and I'm glad I did! This lighthearted story was a fun read from beginning to end. The two leads were so fun to be around that I even was really to believe in a good dose of instalove. I'll definitely be trying more of her books.

The part about Ashleigh's ex having left her to be gay was well handled, I thought. Speaking up to say that you can't throw stones at gays while countenancing rapists in the church was a good (and sadly pertinent) point. I really liked it that, while he admitted he was wrong about how he handled some things and showed humility, he didn't give up his principles either. I thought maybe the televangelist angle was going to be a caricature, but instead I ended up really liking Ken.
