Wow. What a book.
Interesting magic system. Great world building. Great characters, ones I actually cared about. It takes special writing to make me care about the villains in the way I did in this book. I like how they explored each characters reasons for the way they were, and their relationships to each other. Really great portrayal of sibling dynamics. I can't wait to read the second one. I just pre-ordered it.
Fantastic. Highly recommend.
