This was this months King book for the #KeeperofKing reading group I participate in. It's also his newest release and I really enjoyed it. King tends to mostly be middle of the road reads for me or misses but there are some that I have read that have been hits and this is one of those. This is one of his shorter books and I have come to realize that I tend to enjoy his shorter books more. I think that has to do with the fact that King can be overly descriptive. In my opinion in his shorter books he never really goes overboard with the descriptions or unnecessary information. I will say that there was a little reveal at the end of this book that I thought was totally unnecessary and I think it was added to have that shock value moment and I have to say I was shocked by it because I totally wasn't expecting although it is typical King so I should have expected it. I really enjoyed this book but there was something lacking that kept me from giving it 5 stars and I can't say what that something is. I just know that when I really love a book I usually get this kind of anxious feeling and I didn't get that with this book but I still enjoyed the ride.
