I adore this book and the message it presents! I remember how difficult it was to handle wanting to fit in when I was a child and I imagine it's even worse for children of the social media age. Enter this book, which presents gorgeous illustrations and an engaging method of storytelling with a vocabulary which should appeal to a wide variety of ages without being too simple or too complex.

I enjoyed reading about Lana the Llama and her journey toward self acceptance and learning that she can make good friends without pretending to be carbon copies of them. Definitely worthy of sharing with the children in my family!
