Book 1 was one of the most riveting books I've ever read, unfortunately, I can't feel the same about the final book. I will still continue with the series because the author crafts an amazing world and I'm curious how Imriel's story will play out.

Absolutely marvelous, but exhausting to read. It's so long, and so much of it is emotionally intense, that I feel worn out!

Much like the previous two books in the trilogy, intermittent political intrigue, violence, and sex, but no pirates this time. Fairly obvious story line - I saw the end coming and I had to take a break half way through, but managed to finish it.

Another good one. This one was a bit dark. But a very satisfying story and ending.

This last book in the series of Phedre's story was rather epic and covered quite a bit of ground, I recall feeling like the story covered the globe. It was a very satisfying and surprising ending.
