I am completely overwhelmed how to describe my mixed feelings about this story. Based on the trigger warnings I was expecting a darker, creepier, more complex plot with higher level of intensity. There was a promise of MM content, so I expected more in that direction as well. Now the positives - the beginning was excellent, the writing well done, and the concepts the author chose were great. So I continued reading, although after the first few chapters I realized that the level of angst wasn't even a fraction close to my liking and it didn't match the previously mentioned triggers. Even the internal conflict between the pack members over Nora's acceptance into the pack was mild and not very convincing. Chase was my only hope that something more exciting would happen, but that direction turned out to be a dead end. Levi wasn't given enough attention either, and MM was pushed aside. I didn't finish the whole book because I just couldn't continue. I have to say that the concept of designing the Perfect Omega was new to me, and the fact that there is no Universal Standard for what perfect means caught my attention and I wanted to see the author's POV on it through character development! Nora learned over time that nothing and no one is Perfect. She was observant, intelligent, and adaptable, taking the surprises life presented to her as a puzzle to be solved and a challenge she met with quiet determination, which clearly showed that she was a fighter, not a quitter.
For lovers of low angst stories this is a very good choice, just don't go in hyped up for darker content.
