The story here continues and keeps the intensity up. There were moments here when even I began to doubt characters and wonder if the narrators were indeed reliable. This book opens up the POV to other characters now, the children and Sam. At first I wasn't sure about my thoughts on this, but as the story progressed I really liked it and understood why it was needed. There are layers here and so many things going on.
That being said, the book was a bit slow to start for me. I felt like traveling and trying to do things with nothing to show for it. Yet, the suspense and actions of the other people helped the story move on.
It should be said though, that this book is dark. It can be disturbing. It does go to the dark parts of not only the internet, but also humanity.
I was hooked and couldn't put it down. This series is definitely a favorite of mine, although I don't know how the next book will fit into this series after the actions in this one.
