Kilgaren

A young girl (18) returns to the family home she left when she was about nine years old after being facially injured in a fire. She mistrusts her half-brother who rules the island as a colonial fiefdom. This is a gentle mystery written in about the 1950s or 1960s and shows its age but is still readable.
