Jackaby

I missed the comparison between Dr Who and Sherlock, I may have read it differently if I had seen it. I liked this book, Jackaby is a misfit with conflicting feelings about humanity but that did not bother me. I enjoyed the story line and I really liked that the main character did not fall immediately for the other main character. I liked how the magic of the world worked. I did see the bad guy coming but was not disappointed in how it all worked out. I will be reading the next books in the series.
