Iscariot is the first novel I've read by Tosca Lee and is a real masterpiece. I felt like I had traveled back in time and witnessed intimate events in Judas Iscariot's life including personal encounters with Jesus. The culture of Jesus's time and place, the tensions, and all were on full display in this book and told in an entertaining way that allowed me to remain immersed in the story. I never felt like I had to jump to a reference to follow up on anything. I didn't want to put the book down. I highly recommend this book.

I was so excited when I knew this book would come out, so I just had it in my hands, I started reading it immediately.
I enjoyed the story, because helped me understand the historical context and the way in which the Jews expected the Messiah would deliver them from the Romans.I never thought see Jesus in a very different way because all his teachings meant -until now- a radical philosophical revolution.
There were some parts that I didn't like because I felt it was a lot of imagination of the author, but in general, I really really liked this book.
I wish everyone would read this book because it helps to change the perspective of Judas, and above all, about Jesus.
