In the Middle of Somewhere

This book is a weird mix of insta-lust and medium burn. They both feel a connection almost instantly, but things are put off from happening for a while. This... actually worked for me. Insta-love/lust seems to be hit or miss with me these days, yet here I was all for it.
The thing is, I loved the characters together. Daniel can a be a little prick– not the easiest to love, but man I totally understood his actions, which made liking him easier.

I'm not saying the book doesn't have problems – Daniel acts young for being 30 years old and says ‘Um' a LOT and is suuuuper judgmental – in fact Daniel might be the reason this book is 4.5 stars instead of 5, BUT I was hooked and did not want to put it down.
