In the Hall with the Knife A Clue Mystery, Book One

Such fun. If you are a fan of Clue, I recommend this book.

Is the mystery fantastic? No, but it is good and kept me guessing. I really didn't know how it would go down. It is punny though, so the names would put a smile on my face. All the characters have their own secrets which adds another layer onto this book. Although, these secrets did make the plot slow down, I feel. That and how many POVs there are. Each student gets their own chapters – there are 6, btw, and the time isn't equally split between them all either. So, I felt this made it hard to remember everyone and I couldn't always tell the voices a part, but since they are dealing with their own issues (even though there is a dead body!!) it isn't too difficult remembering who the main character was at the time.

It is a fun little mystery, albeit not amazing. I will be continuing this series.
