In The Darkest Midnight

At first I wasn't sure why this was noted to be part of the Wraith King world, but then towards the end we see a well-known character. I love how we are getting views of different parts of the world!

Anyhow, I loved this book. I think the characters are fantastic. The romance is more of a slow burn and takes place over multiple years. Because of this multiple year story, we also see the characters grow into themselves more. Seeing Jahna come into her own is great. AS for the romance, I think the age difference and the occupation and class differences were handled very well. We see them work together, interact together, and how they think about each other, so I really grew to love them.

This series and this author never fail to impress.
