Such a phenomenal wrap up to the Tiffany Aching story arc. I laugh out loud, I sniffle a bit, and get that heart overflowing feeling at the end that I only get for a really really really good book.

4.5. One of my all time favorite series. Content warnings in this book for death of child and domestic abuse.

Of the Tiffany Aching books, this one and the first are my favorites. The story has returning characters, new characters, and a fun weaving plot.

It has the signature Pratchett whim. Read it when you need an interesting other world to escape into an frolic through with the power of a chalk witch.

I never really planned to read the Tiffany Aching books, as I thought they were “for kids.” Ha, how wrong I was. Thank you to whoever put “Wee Free Men” up on Google Play for $2! I've now read 4 of the 5 and I think I need to revisit the books where Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg appear.

Although aimed at younger readers, this adult really enjoyed “I Shall Wear Midnight”. The fourth novel featuring Tiffany Aching and The Nac Mac Feegle, sees Tiffany up against The Cunning Man, who wants to destroy her. Will Tiffany triumph? Does a Feegle like a drink?!

This was one of my least favourite books in the series. However, the series is so good that I still enjoyed it.

What's to say but yet another example of why I enjoy Terry Pratchett and everything we've come to expect from his Discworld series.
