Hooked: A Never After Novel

The first half was actually interesting like I was actively intrigued and then we got past the half point and it turned to shit. It's clear that I was ovulating when I picked this book to read, so I was primarily looking for smut #noshame, but I expected the book to at least be satisfactory.

The love interest James has got to be the dumbest mafia boss I've ever encountered. Nothing is going on in his head, and he lacks critical thinking skills.
