Intriguing from the beginning and am so glad I stayed with it. The book is a worthy first novel. I liked the out of the ordinary plot, the paranormal additions, the tension, eventual love scenes, the brave little girl, Valerie, the characters - especially John, Jillian, and Mel, and the fact that I never knew what was going to happen next. Looking forward to Jamie Eubanks' next novel.
