He's a Brute

After thoroughly enjoying Only When It's Us, I decided to give this book a try. Unfortunately... I didn't fall in love with it. It is interesting and again we have a lead with a disability, but I didn't click with this book. Zed is a mafia boss, soccer/football player, and head of a non-profit– how does he have the time? It felt like they were trying to make him everything. I did like Nairne and think she is awesome. I'm not convinced about them as a couple though, which I think is one of the reasons this book just didn't completely work for me. I considered reading on, but I've lost interest to do so. That being said I do still plan on reading more by this author – just more of her recent works.
