Content warning: Character falls in love with her sister's ex-husband (huge ick factor for me); character dies from inoperable brain tumor.

Almost DNF'd at 80% when an insightful, well-written exploration of family dynamics turned into a predictable two-hanky melodrama, but I kept going because Oprah doesn't make mistakes (it's her 100th Book Club selection).
