Ooo I liked this one. In Heir of Fire, we finally learn more about the Fae, what sort of people they are, what they look like, etc. We get a LOT more of Celaena's backstory, which explains even more about her as a character and why she is the way she is. This helps, because up until this point, she can be a bit much. Speaking of – Celaena gets her ass handed to her in this one, which was needed. It helped her grow as a character, and overall I think the whole of this book was extreme character growth.

I love Rowan. Period.

Definitely continuing to read this series. I'm really enjoying it so far.
