Heartstopper: Volume Four

NO PUEDO MÁS. De verdad estoy enamorada de esta historia, sin duda este es mi volumen favorito. Ver cómo ha evolucionado Charlie con su salud mental, sus mejores momentos pero también los peores. Y cómo Nick quería apoyarlo en todo lo posible. Amo lo bien representada que esta la salud mental, sobre todo, en este caso, la anorexia. Y quiero hablar de lo mucho que odio al hermano de Nick. De verdad, desde el primer momento que apareció en volúmenes anteriores, me caía fatal. Pero en este volumen de verdad, se pasa demasiado. No tenía de ningún derecho de decirle al padre que Nick y Charlie eran novios y, prácticamente, obligarle a salir del armario.

Espero ansiosa al quinto volumen que, sino tengo mal entendido, es el último. Me va a dar mucha pena terminar esta historia, sin duda permanecerá en mi corazoncito.

My favorite thing about Alice Oseman's work is how she goes: “I'm gonna make you feel something today or else” and then proceeds to ruin you with all the emotions. I think Vol 4. might be my favorite so far. There's so much character exploration and deep emotional conversations. I couldn't get enough even when it hurt to read. Also Victoria “Tori” Spring is my hero!

It's sooo cute and sweet ;_;

I also really appreciated the depth it went into about Charlie's eating disorder recovery after it being brought up and not really resolved in the past volume. Really great character development while also being, as mentioned, soo cute and sweet!

Nothing but love for this series. This part made me cry. Poor Charlie ;-;

This was ridiculously cute. I just care about these characters so much and hope to always see them happy. I like the discussion of mental health here and how it is not up to one person to save the day.

High-quality macro photography of insects. John Hallmén is clearly an expert of focus stacking, and has managed to create captivating extreme close-up photos of insects. Very intriguing work. Even very common flys look quite charming face-to-face like this.
