Loved this one too, even though it combines two of my least favorite tropes. Which means it had to be good.

I think what I really appreciate in Elsie Silver's books is the slow burn, yearning, and banter. She writes women that are strong and funny, not damsels in distress. And her men, are men and when they fall, they fall hard.
