What Happens On The Road Trip... Won't Stay On The Road Trip. This was a fun road trip tale featuring classic road trip items, much angst, some increasingly hot sexy times through much of the back half (ish) of the tale, and, since it is a romance, a HEA to close. I'm not quite as prolific in the FF romance ARC scene as MF or MM, but this largely follows the standard romance format no matter the particular sexualities. (Though in my experience, MM tends to have the most sex for some reason.) If you like romance at all, this is definetly a book to try out. If you like road trip tales at all, this is definetly a book to try out. If you're looking for a good summer read or even trapped inside (for whatever reason ;) ) read, this is absolutely a good book to try out. Very much recommended.

A sweet romance and a good read. I especially liked the relatability of the characters.

Elia Winters takes us from Crystal, Florida to Quebec, Canada and some very cool stops in between in their love story Hairpin Curves. Megan takes after me as she has about a thousand mix cds of music for the trip (laugh). Megan is at a crossroads in her life as she has to make a choice that she has avoided since she graduated college: where in life is she going next? Is fear of the next step going to stop her?

Winters tackles this topic throughout the book and through both characters stories. What do we fear? Are the fears real to anyone but us? How do we work through a fear that to us seems very real? Failure? Not good enough? No one will want me? Looking stupid to the one who matters? Having yet another stamp in the passport to nowhere that everyone will talk about.
