Very important topic. Really dove into how one young women comes to understand the male gaze and how this affects her. Somewhat predictable plotting, but I think it was intentional as to better underline the truths of this gritty narrative. I thought the writing was generally quite good, though disjointed at times. There was a great sense of atmosphere even while using the creepy mansion on the cliff by the beach trope. If you are looking for more of a thriller, see Sadie. If you are looking for an atmospheric social commentary, this is a good pick.
