Teddy plans to give them exactly what they deserve: permanent death. He threatens Myles with his weaponized jet and Beckett and Specialist Lazuli succeed in disarming the aircraft and causing an accident that kills the duke. But does it really? Blijven fijne tussendoortjes, en eigenlijk ook leuker dan de oorspronkelijke Artemis Fowl serie – vooral door Becket natuurlijk.
“Myles was able to do something he called compartmentalize, which meant storing unhelpful emotions in a mind box until he had time to deal with them, but Beckett was a creature who ran on emotions and could not shut them off at will. In fact, he rarely put anything in boxes.”
This keeps up the style and fun of the other Twins books.
But there is a little too much gruesome (and casual) murder in it.
It seems that Beckett is rather different from the previous books, becoming smarter
and more Artemis like.
I enjoyed it and if you are an Artemis Universe fan, you'll like this.
