I really disliked this one, which is a shame since I loved the first one. Unfortunately, I'm reviewing this 4 months after actually reading it so I can't even remember fully why I disliked it– I just get this “UGH” feeling when I think about it.

Heads up: There is cheating in this book
(Thankfully I wrote a note about that), this is probably one of the main reasons I dislike this book. I have a hard time forgiving cheaters. There was no reason for it and for the other character to be almost egging it on made no sense.

I also have a hard time liking second chance romances, especially if they work in the same field. Why didn't they [in this case Jared] try to reach out to Banner before this?

I will read Hook Shot since I've heard such good things about it. I hope it redeems this book.
