From Hollywood with Love

Fun look at the last 30+ years of romcoms, with chapters alternating between the movies that defined the era and the actors who became famous (or infamous) through their roles. I wish the author had written an introductory chapter about the classic romantic comedies of the 40's and 50's (The Lady Eve, His Girl Friday, etc.) that paved the way for Nora Ephron, Nancy Meyers and other writers/directors. But that's a minor quibble about a breezy, enjoyable, quick read. Brought back fond memories of the days when every new release wasn't a superhero franchise movie.
