I really enjoyed getting to read this scene from Four's perspective- he was always the mire interesting character to me anyway.

There isn't enough here to get excited about. After “Four: A Divergent Collection,” it's a little difficult to justify this story's existence. It's not revelatory and is quickly finished. I really like Four, so his perspective is always welcome, but there was a lot of telling and not showing going on and I felt unmoved by the meh of it all.

Hmm I didn't find anything interesting with this story. Yes, Four told us about his POV during the knife-throwing scene. But I wasn't satisfied with it and it's almost the same as Tris's POV during that scene. But hey...at least we got answers as to why he taunted Tris and his thoughts about that particular moment. v(¯∇¯)
This was actually pretty cool. You don't know how much I was dying when I read this scene in Divergent, because when I read this scene I thought Tobias was kind of mean, and I was there like “Bitch! Why you do that? Reading this is so much better, it's like, mental peace. Fun story to read.

“I can't leave now. I like her too much. There, I said it. But I won't say it again.”
In my experience, Alt POVs fall into 1 of two categories - 1. Pretty useless or 2. Pretty good. To land in the latter, the alt pov has to add something to the story emotionally. And it really depends on how well the author has fleshed out the character and whether he/she has picked a scene that has potential relevance. Happy to say this one falls into the ‘pretty good' column. Veronica Roth picked a great scene - one that wasn't sappy or was full of teen whining. It let us see what Tobias thought about numerous things going on around him. It wasn't just about Tris.
Loved it. Four's by far my favorite of the series and it's refreshing to hear the story from his reasonable point of view. Would love to read more!
