Fortress Britain

Finally a Zombie apocalypse story puts the guys guys most like to survive front and center. The typical zombie fare will have people like Robert Neville but its really the folks who are trained to kill that are likely to make it past Zombies and not your average Joe. Simply because they are more likely to be prepared for a threat from any quarter and not given to panic. So the writers got it right. But getting the premise right does not mean its a fantastic book. The story kind of meanders and lots of time is lost in the mind of a soldier than on moving the story along, so in the end its a nice read which could have been very good. Let's see what the next one holds!
