I didn't think I would cry but I am BAWLING my eyes out. Charlie deserves the whole fucking world and then some. Same for Algernon. Fuck anyone who is such a POS to people who are disabled. The journey of Charlie from beginning to end hits you. The writing was done AMAZINGLY. I was in awe. There were a few things I really didn't agree on. Like, how these “scientist” decided to do a human trial without FULLY having finished with Algernon. Honestly, to call yourself a scientist and doing that is kind of pathetic. Anyone who does a fast turnout without FULLY testing something is pathetic and I hope the worst for these people. They put other's life at risk and for what? Most likely fame and money. There is this thing I would happily hold up my middle fingers to Daniel about. When he wrote "Whatever the truth is, I must not hate Rose for protecting Norma. I must understand the way she saw it. Unless I forgive her, I will have nothing." This is such bullshit and nearly ruined the whole book for me. If you read that statement and agree remotely, do the world a favor and don't.
