Flame in the Mist

The prose is over-dramatic and anticipated sections of action in the plot are under-described. The main characters have some depth to them, but the writing is so full of fluff that it distracts from the character development. The plot twist is pretty good, but the stakes always seem lower than the writing plays it up to be, leading it to be somewhat of a flat read.
