TL:DR: It's a drag. There are some good parts, like with her father, but as a whole I couldn't get myself to care about Cath, even though we share some traits. I felt like the book was going slow and would never catch me.

The story is centered around Cass in her Freshman year of college. She writes fan fiction and has social anxiety and is a nerd. Okay, but it doesn't seem like there was a plot. Here are some people doing stuff. Kind of like osverving them. If you are into characters just hanging and slowly going through the predictable motions, you may like this book. I wish I had more positive things to say about it, but this book isn't for me, but it definitally has potential to be great and it may suit someone else's tastes.
