Escaping Fate, Embracing Destiny

CJ and Michael aren't aware how drastically their lives will change in a matter of hours and the fact that their souls have been interconnected at the dawn of civilization, long gone and forgotten, before both of them were born. It's a heavy, gruesome, dark story rigged with triggers - kidnapping, violence, murder, forced proximity and non con acts / on page r@pe/. It has a well deserved HEA for CJ and Michael but the authors definitely put them through the wringer before that. I loved the way CJ and Michael nurtured and defended their unusual but strong bond from the start; the mature way they handled all the difficulties and consequences after the nightmare they endured and survived.

Definitely very good choice for the readers who love darker stories!
