Eragon

This is a classic for me. Loved this book as a teenager, and I loved rereading it now. Great characters, appealing world, adventure. Definitely worth getting made fun of at your wedding for it.

Age range: 13+
It's a little long, but nothing about it is too serious for younger readers.
