Ender's Game

EDIT: I decided this not even a 3. Bad plot, silly storytelling. I rated better books at 3.

This book was surprising to me. Why so many people love it? To me, it has the least believable set of characters ever. To a point it was a cringe to read at times. I actually listened to the author's explanation to why he made Ender so young, but I completely don't buy it. Explaining, that a 16yo wouldnt trust adults so much, but in the same time making a 6yo having the way of thinking and reasoning of an adult is completely unbelievable. I know that the book is not about that, but i felt like most of its content had to deal with this decision. Another thing is that what the book was about is in like the last 10% of it. To me this is a very weak 3 star rating... I may actually even lower it to 2.
However, I am more than open to be convinced otherwise, that this book really is great and im nitpicking.
