Elusion

This book completely changed and I have no idea what is going on anymore and I really stopped caring :/

We start out with the characters in prison and their relationship builds for over half the book...while they are in prison. Nothing about the world is really explained enough for me, so I was confused but willing to roll with things. But then, they escape and end up somewhere else and the book becomes so different. No longer in prison, I had no idea what the world was going to be like and her journey felt so drawn out. I started skimming because I wanted to get back to the story??? Then realized I had no idea what the book was about anymore and decided to stop wasting my time.

I think there are amazing ideas here, but the execution just didn't work for me.
