Eleanor & Grey

I cried MULTIPLE times. This was a good story and very powerful and actually the first one that made me cry from this author. But it felt more like general fiction than a romance and the ending was a bit rushed for me. Not my favorite by this author but she has a VERY high bar. Her writing is fantastic.

Estuvo bien para ser un primer libro que leí de la autora. La primera parte me hizo llorar con el asunto de la mamá, y la segunda parte me conmovió mucho.

Si fuera una serie o una telenovela, lo hubiera amado mucho. Pero, la autora desarrolló muy rápido la relación de los protagonistas. Se unieron así de la nada y no me gustó. Me hubiera encantado mejor que colocara situaciones en las que la pareja se desarrollara mejor.

Incluso, me enamoré más de los sentimientos que Greyson tenía por su esposa Nicole que los sentimientos que expresaba por Eleanor. No me convenció la pareja protagonista por completo.

2.5 stars, rounding to 3. It's not bad by any means, but it was maybe my least favorite book by Cherry. I've lost a parent and really connected with Ellie, but I really disliked older Greyson and his treatment of some characters. I get that he had issues, but it just didn't work for me. See Melanie A's review; it's exactly what I thought stated in a much cleaner review!

Oh my heart....I literally had all the feels when reading this book. So many tears! This was such a wonderful story about a love that got away and then was found again. I felt every emotion for these characters. Definitely will be reading more from this author!
