Easypeasy Method

Before I start talking about the book, allow me to tell you a history: there was i, using the internet, when a great friend of mine sends me a video named “Pornography facts by Mio Honda”. The video consisted basically on a anime girl singing in japanese, with the lyrics translated on facts about pornography. At the end of the video, it's mencioned a technique called EasyPeasy. As it's access's free, I figured that i should give it a try, as I'm particularly interested in books about porn's collateral effects. I downloaded the pdf and started reading it.The books starts on many pages removing the brainwashing that you have been a victim: that you NEED porn, that there's NOTHING WRONG with doing it, that is just a INOFFENSIVE HABIT, etc. After that, it consists in correcting the lies that you were told, especially by NoFap forums (a reason that i don't like these sites), that quitting porn is “tough”, that you have to “survive X number of days/weeks/months and then you'll be free”. According to the Hackauthor (and I totally agree with him), that's not how it works. You need to stop complaining and rejoicing that you have no need to watch this. These forums treat porn as if it were “good, but is bad for your brain so you can't watch it”, it's not. It's poison, and I don't see anyone drinking poison as a inoffensive habit. It's good to see someone taking other perspective on quitting porn without feeding the eternal cicle of Trying Willpower - Last only X number of days - Feel down - Use more porn to cope with this feeling - Repeat. I know the movie has been out for 20+ years, but at the time I hadn't watched it yet. Still, i loved the movie even if I already knew its ending.________________Antes de falar do livro, me permita contar uma história: lá estava eu, utilizando a internet, quando um grande amigo me manda um vídeo chamado (tradução livre) “Fatos sobre a pornografia, por Mio Honda”. O vídeo consistia, basicamente, numa personagem de anime cantando com a legenda falando fatos sobre a pornografia. No fim do vídeo, é mencionado uma técnica chamada EasyPeasy. Como o acesso era grátis, cheguei a conclusão de que não custava dar uma lida, afinal, os efeitos colaterais causados pela pornografia é um assunto do qual eu tenho um particular interesse. Peguei o PDF e comecei a ler.O livro consiste em várias páginas removendo a lavagem cerebral que lhe foi feita, de que você NECESSITA de pornografia, de que NÃO FAZ MAL, de que é só um HÁBITO INOFENSIVO, etc. Passando essa parte, consiste em lhe corrigir as mentiras espalhadas, principalmente pelos fóruns de NoFap (motivos pelos quais eu sempre tive um pé atrás com esses sites), de que você se livrar do vício da pornografia é “difícil”, de que você tem que “sobreviver X número de dias/semanas/meses” e você estará livre. De acordo com o próprio Hackauthor (e eu endosso essa proposição dele) não é assim que funciona. Você só precisa parar de reclamar e o processo se dará naturalmente. Esses fóruns tratam a pornografia como se fosse algo bom, mas que lhe faz mal, sendo que na verdade ela é um veneno, e eu acredito que ninguém aqui toma veneno como “hábito inofensivo”. É ótimo ver alguém com outra perspectiva em largar a pornografia, não alimentando aquele ciclo eterno de Força de Vontade - Durar X número de dias -Se sentir mal - Usar pornografia como forma de lidar com esse sentimento - Repete. Única coisa que eu posso criticar no livro é uma falta de fonte como notas de rodapé, no estilo do livro da Mary Anne Layden [b: The Social Costs of Pornography: A Statement of Findings and Recommendations 7953989 The Social Costs of Pornography A Statement of Findings and Recommendations Mary Anne Layden https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1387706129l/7953989.SY75.jpg 11592663].Além disso ele me deu spoiler do final de Um Sonho de Liberdade. Eu sei que o filme saiu a mais de 20 anos, mas eu não tinha assistido. Mesmo assim eu amei o filme.
