This is one of those books I wish I had reviewed sooner because I had such F E E L I N G S. This is one of my favorite new adult romances.

Lucas is one of the best romantic leads. He is kind, caring, willing to give space, and teaches Jacqueline how to protect herself, but is still there to protect her when she needs it. And Jacqueline?? She's a solid lead too. She feels like a normal college student– one I probably would have known or talked to, which makes she situation even more painful, but real.

The conflict is believable and not too overdone. And there is one part where I was worried the lack of communication or openness would get to me, but I understood the reasoning, so it wasn't so bad.

Look, this is a book I will probably read again in the future. I loved it and if you are looking for a romance on a college campus give this one a try.
